With over 13,000 hours Adam has flown in almost every sector in aviation holding his Airline Transport License, Instructor Certificates, Rotor and Low Level Airshow Waiver. Adam has extensive experience in acquisitions and brokerage, as well as building and managing Part 91 flight departments. Adam enjoys playing the guitar, hiking, flying airshows and spending time sharing his passion for aviation with schools and flying clubs.

Aircraft Specialties: Challenger 300, Cessna Citation CJ Series, Embraer Phenom Series, Beechcraft King Air and Rotorcraft.

Katie’s aviation experience comes from both airline and corporate aviation. She has over 8,500 flight hours, is skilled in aircraft acquisitions and brokerage as well as managing the in-house portions of flight departments. Katie enjoys tennis, hiking and enjoying nature in her free time.

Clayton is a seasoned aviation consultant, entrepreneur, and multi-engine commercial pilot with more than 20 years in the left seat. As Founder and President of Scissortail, he combines deep industry knowledge with a proven track record in aircraft sales, compliance, and strategy.

Previously, Clayton led sales and marketing at Reata Jet, where he closed multimillion-dollar transactions and spearheaded a major rebrand. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the South Texas Business Aviation Association, where he launched a Leadership Development Program to mentor the next generation of aviation leaders.

Before turning his focus to aviation, Clayton built a successful career in the music industry as a renowned keyboardist and music producer, performing on global stages and national television alongside some of the biggest names in entertainment. As a GRAMMY voting member, he earned recognition not only as a musician but as part of the broader creative community. He later parlayed that experience into entrepreneurship, co-founding Craftsmen Events, where he produced large-scale concerts and charitable activations.

Emma brings over 20 years of experience in operations, specializing in scheduling and accounting. Raised in a small town in Texas, she developed a strong work ethic and attention to detail that continue to define her professional approach.

In her role, Emma ensures seamless coordination of schedules while maintaining accurate financial oversight, supporting efficient day-to-day operations and exceptional client service. Her reliability, organization, and deep operational knowledge make her a key contributor to the team.

Kevin Garland

Operations Manager

Bio
Kevin discovered his passion for aviation at an early age and has built a career spanning military, maintenance, and flight instruction. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Crew Chief on the B-1 Lancer at Dyess Air Force Base, where he performed flight-line inspections, specialized in hydraulics and propulsion, and earned his 7-level certification. He later transitioned to the Air Force Reserves at McConnell AFB, maintaining the KC-46 Pegasus and becoming one of a select few crew chiefs certified in ETOPS maintenance.

After returning to Texas, Kevin gained additional experience as a line technician at McKinney National Airport before pursuing professional flight training. He completed all ratings at Thrust Flight, including PPL, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, CFII, and CMEL, along with high-performance and complex endorsements.
